Wallenius' whole activity is served by a number of head office staff functions. For example, Human Resource (HR) support for recruitment, training matters, and payroll handling, but also internal and external communications, handling the group’s capital needs and IT support.
At present, the Wallenius IT department is installing Broadband on all Wallenius ships, which is unique for commercial vessels in global traffic. With onboard Broadband, the crew can telephone, send e-mails, and surf in the same way as they can whilst ashore.
Furthermore, Wallenius also has its own representatives in several locations: Singapore, China, Korea, Germany, Belgium and the USA.
