Career

Our employees are our most important assets. We offer great career opportunities and development is a natural part of working with us. Many co-workers started their careers as cadets and have remained with us since.

Welcome to a line of business that never sleeps

The vessels manned by Wallenius Marine are in service around the clock, every day, all year round, all over the world. We operate ocean-going and European-going vessels on a variety of routes with voyage lengths of between 3 and 12 weeks. In addition, we build and design the ships of tomorrow – created to meet the sustainability and safety challenges of the future. Wallenius Marine is a family-owned company that is part of Soya Group. Our history begins in the shipping company founded by Olof Wallenius almost 100 years ago. The special pioneering spirit that was established then still characterises the business.

We offer a secure job with a collective agreement and occupational pension. We believe in internal mobility within the organisation – it is possible for co-workers to navigate between jobs at sea and on shore.

We have offices in Singapore and in Stockholm, where our headquarters are located. As a co-worker, you will be part of an organisation that always strives to dare to think beyond.

Our vision is to lead the way towards truly sustainable shipping. We work with continuous improvements in large and small ways to reduce our environmental impact, but also new innovative solutions that benefit the industry. We always strive to push the boundaries of what is possible, evolution and revolution.

Our culture is curious, innovation-driven and caring. With us, you will find colleagues who not only want to be part of the evolution, but also wish to influence it in the right direction.
